Trustgarn's three-dimensional manufacturing system represents an exclusive and central element of our innovation strategy. This process allows us to design garments significantly lighter without compromising on quality or functionality. The items gently adapt to the body and are particularly beneficial for people with sensitive skin that reacts to pressure and friction.
We are setting new standards with our developments in clothing for patients with dermatoses such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and diabetes. In close collaboration with our partners within the framework of a European research project, we have fundamentally revised the manufacturing and process chain. One of the key challenges in producing clothing for people with skin diseases is enabling direct contact with the affected skin without causing additional irritation or discomfort.
The uniqueness of Trustgarn's underwear lies in its complex, three-dimensional honeycomb structure, which is both patented and unique in the industry. This special structure not only ensures an optimal fit but also efficient body temperature regulation. Targeted air circulation creates a pleasant microclimate that is particularly beneficial for patients with dermatoses.

Advanced fiber development
We at Trustgarn have reached another significant milestone in fiber development: Our specialty textiles are made from an innovative fiber blend based on profiles. Our specialty fiber is manufactured by Lenzing, a global leader in the production of high-quality specialty fibers based in Austria – known for sustainable innovation and the highest quality standards in the textile industry.
This material has been used successfully in medical technology for decades – including in heart valves, vascular implants, stents, and suture materials. These applications place the highest demands on compatibility, durability, and purity. Based on this proven foundation, we have developed a fiber that is optimally suited to our knitting process.
Our Profilen-based fiber is certified antibacterial, extremely smooth, and low-friction. This makes it ideal for people with atypical dermatoses, allergies, or sensitive skin. Skin irritations, which can occur with conventional textiles due to friction, are effectively avoided. The result: noticeably more comfort and protection.
Another important advantage: Our material does not cause microplastic abrasion and does not release any skin-harming substances – this has been extensively tested by the renowned Hohenstein Institute and confirmed with the “Medically Tested” seal.
The specially developed fiber blend is the result of extensive testing for skin irritation and biocompatibility. The recognition of our products as medical devices and their approval in the European Medical Device Database EUDAMED underscore our commitment to providing the highest standards of safety and quality.
Our fiber also exhibits a unique property: creams and ointments can develop their full effect on the skin. Our own studies show that the effectiveness of medical care products is increased by up to 50%.
